The Mustangs got off to a
good start in 2007 and had an even better year than the last two. Although
the end result was the same after yet another 1 goal loss in the area
semifinal round, this time to eventual state finalist Cyfair, this was
a stronger team with a good core of seniors, and juniors that will be
back to team up with the core of the ever-strong Memorial JV program.
The Mustangs got off to a good start in
2007-08, winning both Richardson and Cyfair tournaments. While they lost
in the championship game of Aggieland Classic in overtime to rival Cyfair,
it was a great preseason, and they look forward to carrying that over
into the regular season.
They got off to a good start, beating Klein
in the opener before heading off to Santa Barbara, CA, for a little out
of state action in the Santa Barbara Shootout.
