The IronMaidens (beginning to
be easily confused with John Wooden's UCLA Bruin hoops dynasty of the 60s
and 70s) are looking to reload again. Despite losing in the state championship
game to rival St. Johns last year, it was still a great season and marks
the end of a great 4 year run, led by Katie Wallis who takes her skills
to Mary Washington, and Amanda Richards, who moves on to Pfeiffer (sp?).
But opponents should still quake with fear, because the next batch of superMaidens
is coming up, and the Maidens look to build on their A&M tournament
championship and carry that over into the season.
